Sunset & Dine takes place October 2nd The Annual Festival Showcase’s the Neighborhood’s Best Culinary Talent The third annual Sunset & Dine is a celebration of the often overlooked culinary scene of the famed Sunset & Vine intersetion, taking place Thursday, October 2nd from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Taglyan Complex on Vine. The Los Angeles Film School, located nearby, is the primary sponsor of this year’s event.   Over the years, Hollywood’s touristy rise has made Sunset and Vine a less-than-enticing place to seek out top-of-the-line grub. But with a recent influx of money, a booming local farmers market and a real estate surge that has brought plenty of new tenants, the area has been reborn as a neighborhood all its own – with food to match. Sunset & Dine 2014 celebrates the rebirth of the famed Sunset and Vine intersection, especially its  vibrant culinary scene. Food, beer and wine by local restaurants and bars, will be served to the sounds of live music curated by Amoeba Records with performances by: Jimetta Rose, Alexander Seling, Taylor Rae and DJ Anthony De La Rosa. You will be able to experience over 20 restaurants exhibiting their culinary expertise, including Beso,  the fun Cleo, Field Trip, a local produce-driven coffee and lunch restaurant, Fabiolus Cucina, a classic red sauce joint that’s been serving up some of the best pizza and Veronesi cuisine in the neighborhood for over 22 years; and many others.   One of Field Trip chef Minh Phan 's delicious offerings This may only be the beginning of the rebirth for the famed intersection, and with spectacular events like Sunset & Dine it is no surprise that culinary talents keep flooding in. Ticket prices are reasonable at only $25 for general admission including beer and wine and best of all, free for children under 12 years of age, making Sunset & Dine 2014 an accessible food festival for all. It’s going to be awful fun.   Learn more about Sunset & Dine at the official website Related Content: Los Angeles Restaurants Los Angeles Food Events
