Lapakahi State Historical Park

The park is made up of ruins from an ancient Hawaiian fishing village in North Kohala that dates back 600 years. 

The start of the Lapakahi Village Intrepretive Trail

The 262-acre park is home to restored houses made of materials found int the park and lava stone walls and visitors are encouraged to take a one-mile, self-guided tour of the surrounding area.
