Bishop Museum

Where the history of both ancient Hawaii and the days of the monarchy come alive.

The Bishop Museum in Honolulu

The largest museum in Hawaii holds the world's largest collection of Polynesian cultural artifacts and its permanent galleries include three floors that explore three different Hawaiian realms both of the gods and the community. There's also a Science Adventure Center with immersive exhibits and the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame.

The Nā Ulu Kaiwi‘ula Native Hawaiian garden features dozens of species of plants that are indigenous to the land while the Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kāhili Room displays portraits of the Hawaiian Monarchy and some of their personal belongings.
