It's a city within a city.
CityCenter rolled out its red carpet on The Strip in late 2009. It encompasses 16,797,000 square feet and bears an interesting resemblance to The Guggenheim. The architects and designers minded the green/sustainable mantra all along the way too. Public artworks and tree-shaded outdoor seating break The Strip mold.
Due to CityCenter's immense size, well-rehearsed staff populates every corner — don’t even try to maneuver this sprawling urban campus without letting them direct you to the closest tram station or one of the many restaurants. A tram shuttles passengers like clockwork between sister MGM MIRAGE properties Bellagio and Monte Carlo Resort & Casino, with a stop at CityCenter’s The Shops at Crystals in between.
The Shops at Crystals is a stunning center sprawled across 500,000 square feet. You'll find luxury boutiques such as Prada, Versace, Bulgari, and a two-story Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. Needless to say, it's not difficult to while away a few hours here.
Take note that although named CityCenter, that brand name is gradually fading out of use, being replaced by the Aria brand.
