Skyscraper Museum

This museum was founded in order to document the significance of the skyscraper in urban American history.

Inside the Skyscraper Museum

A disaster relief center during the terrorist attacks of 2001, the museum (and its exhibits) tell the history of the city skyline, noting the players and historical forces that shaped the architectural marvel that is the skyscraper. The museum's stainless steel floors and exhibition areas create the feeling of levitating 40 stories above Manhattan.
