A structure that was modeled off of an arcade in Italy.
A few blocks north on Fifth Avenue is Nashville’s arts district, home to a handful of art galleries and the historic Arcade. Between Fourth and Fifth avenues, the Arcade is a walkway lined with lunch spots for downtown workers, but it comes alive at night when the many art galleries open their doors on weekends. Various shops can also be found on the first and second floors.
Just a block or two south of Broadway on Fourth Avenue is a great place to catch the walking bridge and watch the waters of the Cumberland River’s roiling beneath you. The walking bridge connects downtown with East Nashville, and more specifically LP Field, where the NFL Tennessee Titans play.
