Best Things to Do in Park City in the Summer

Park City Museum

The Park City Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in the town’s history.

Park City Museum contains over 5,400 square feet of exhibits

Located on Main Street in the historic City Hall building, the museum contains over 5,400 square feet of exhibits. City Hall has housed diverse government offices over the years, including the old Utah Territorial Prison (don’t miss visiting the original jail cells in the basement).

Dedicated to illustrating Park City’s transition from 19th-century silver mining town to chic ski resort, the museum’s exhibits cover everything from worker conditions to immigration. Standout displays include a two-story model of the Ontario Mine in the 1800s and a re-created Kimball Stagecoach car.
