Experience healing in a thousand-year-old cave in Tuscany.
More than just a spa, Grotta Giusti was referred to as the eighth wonder of the world by Maestro Giuseppe Verdi. The reason: it's a thousand-year-old cave located a little over 650 feet below the resort. The cave is divided into three parts — Heaven, Purgatory and Hell — and temperatures range from 82.4 to 93.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Natural steam wafts through the air, opening lung passages, and pools of therapeutic waters welcome you to take a dip. Temperatures and atmospheric pressure throughout the cave remain constant during all seasons so you can lounge in comfort while experiencing the healing properties.
Besides the marvels of this ancient cave, a Bioaquam Thermal Pool equipped with massaging jets is also available at the spa, as well as a fitness centre, plus a variety of beauty and therapeutic treatments from facials to inhalation therapy.
