The Tea Garden at Osmosis

A day spa inspired by Japanese healing practices and culture.

As soon as you step foot into Osmosis, you forget that this sanctuary is located in northern California. Instead, you feel swept away to the Japanese countryside. Guests can enjoy tea in a private room overlooking a Japanese garden. Or, experience the healing properties of the Cedar Enzyme Bath, a ritual that has its origins in Japan. You immerse your body in a fermenting mixture of soft ground cedar and rice bran. These elements help stimulate circulation and reduce muscle and joint pain. The living enzymes also help deep clean the skin.

If you want some quiet time to yourself, head to the Kyoto-inspired Meditation Garden to walk, sit, lay or meditate among the stones, plants and water. The Field of Hammocks is just what the name implies. Situate yourself in a cushioned hammock and either lie down and enjoy the silence or plug into Hemi-Sync sound therapy for even deeper relaxation.
