Colorado has it all — from snow-covered mountains and endless prairies to red rock canyons and bustling cities. Head to Denver to be surrounded by attractions, or escape to destination resorts such as Telluride or Aspen to get away from the commotion. Whether it’s shopping and dining or skiing and mountain biking, visitors will never run out of things to do in Colorado.
The state is known as "Colorful Colorado" because of it's natural beauty made up of mountains, plains and rivers and it's also nicknamed "The Centennial State" because it became the 38th state of the United States in 1876 exactly one hundred years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
