Gayot Teams Up with Viacom
Following a deal with the Viacom Television Stations Group, Gayot restaurant content, such as restaurant reviews and “The Best of” lists, is now available on the group’s Viacom Local Networks, with the ultimate goal of covering all of its sixteen owned-and-operated CBS stations. Content is already available in Salt Lake City (www.kutv.com), Minneapolis (www.wcco.com) and Denver (www.kcnc.com). The Viacom Television Stations Group comprises 34 television stations that reach fifteen of the top twenty television markets in the U.S., via sixteen owned-and-operated CBS stations and eighteen UPN-affiliated stations. André Gayot Shares High French Honor with American and French Chefs

Many American, French and European chefs and other luminaries of the food and wine world were present at the Consulate General of France in New York, when the French Ambassador to the U.S., Jean-Daniel Levitte, bestowed on André Gayot the ensigns making him an officer of the Légion d’Honneur, France's highest decoration. Google Increases Audience Through Gayot.com
Visitors to the newly launched Google Maps will soon have access to information provided by Gayot.com. In an effort to draw a larger audience and provide more inventory for its ad clients, Google has integrated its maps and added additional content to its local search engine from sites such as Gayot.com, Citysearch, Dine.com, SuperPages.com, AOL CityGuide, Frommers.com and RestaurantRow.com. This additional information, especially user reviews, will “help Google better rank search results to meet searcher queries,” reports ClickZ.com. Full release. (05/05)

This means you’re just a click away from locating an establishment rated 15/20 in Indianapolis or a Quick Bite in Northwest Florida. In addition, every single restaurant in our entire online database is now identified either by a rating, as a Quick Bite or as having “No Rating” in instances where there was a chef change or the place is new and not evaluated yet.
