Brasserie Dubuisson Scaldis Peche Mel

Top 10 Summer Beers

As you sip Brasserie Dubuisson Scaldis Peche Mel, the peach flavor bombards your taste buds

Brasserie Dubuisson Scaldis Pêche Mel

Inspired by a student cocktail mixing equal parts Scaldis Amber and peach lambic, the Belgian Brasserie Dubuisson began brewing this lighter version of its classic Scaldis Amber with peach juice added in 2009. When poured, this World Beer Championships gold medal winner displays an orange-amber hue and wafts forth with a lively fresh peach juice bouquet. As you sip, the peach flavor bombards your taste buds, but it's not overly sweet, as the intense fruit sweetness is balanced with the bitterness of the amber ale, robust 8.5 percent alcohol strength and signature yeast that gives it a peppery note. This ale will grow on you, as a dry, slightly bitter aftertaste entices you to continue to empty your glass. This variation of a Belgian classic will help you celebrate the harvest of one of the most popular of summer fruits.

Price: $17.99 (4-pack 11.2 oz bottles)
