GAYOT.com evaluates restaurants on a 20-point scale. The rankings reflect only GAYOT.com’s opinion of the quality of the cuisine. No restaurant will ever earn a perfect 20, and there are no restaurants rated less than 10 points, as they would not be good enough to be recommended.    With thousands and thousands of honest reviews, all written by a handpicked worldwide team of discerning professionals, GAYOT.com serves as a serious resource, providing timeless coverage while keeping pace with the latest trends. The publications began in France in 1969 with the award-winning GaultMillau guide books, during which André Gayot and his friends Henri Gault and Christian Millau coined and promoted the term Nouvelle Cuisine.
