Tasting Notes: Mark Lieb developed a growing passion for wine while living in California during the early 1980s. Returning to the East Coast in 1985, Mark and Kathy Lieb purchased a 20-acre vineyard on Long Island in 1992 and established Lieb Cellars. The winery operates three tasting rooms on Long Island, including one in East Hampton. In addition to producing its own lines of Reserve and Bridge Lane wines, Lieb Cellars makes private label wines for Tom Colicchio’s Craft restaurants and luxury hotel Topping Rose House. An excellent choice for brunches and picnics, the 2013 Bridge Lane Rosé is light-bodied and bone dry. On the palate, it displays bright strawberry and watermelon flavors, a brisk acidity and a clean finish.
Food Pairings: Grilled chicken, crunchy salads, fresh fish, shrimp
