Tools for a Paperless Cockpit
Developed around the unique needs of general aviation pilots, MyGoFlight’s PLC Duffel is a solid, durable bag that will streamline any aviator’s life. Functional and light, it is made out of water-resistant material and has a spacious center section.
All of the compartments are easy to see into, and it comes with a quasi-secret, protective pocket which could hold an iPad. Smaller items can be securely stored in a front organizer section. We were particularly impressed by the inclusion of two padded headset pockets, one on each end of the bag, which protect expensive equipment. The duffel also comes with a magnetically sealed flap, which you can slide over a luggage cart.
Although admirably designed, the Flight Bag PLC Duffel would be of little use to a non-pilot. Regular travelers should look to the company’s Flight Bag PLC Pro, a sturdy backpack with a seemingly endless array of compartments. Frequent fliers will appreciate the inclusion of an airport checkpoint-friendly pouch that allows you to easily access your laptop. MyGoFlight also sells a range of iPad cockpit accessories.
