A guest room at Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace in Las Vegas

What do you get when world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa and two-time Academy Award-winner Robert De Niro get together? A modern luxury hotel, of course.

April 2013 marked the beginning of Matsuhisa’s hotel venture, when his first lodging opened as a hotel within a hotel at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. But the duo’s collaboration didn’t start there, as De Niro co-funded and provided creative direction for Nobu restaurants, and was also responsible for bringing the Japan-born Los Angeles celebrity chef, who has opened restaurants worldwide including Peru, to New York.

Hand chosen by both Matsuhisa and De Niro, New York-based designer David Rockwell created the atmosphere for the hotel. Blending Japanese and Asian traditions with Western accents, Nobu Hotel has a Zen-like vibe throughout and offers a haven of calm within the bustling Caesars Palace.

The wing houses an intimate 181 rooms and suites, all utilizing feng shui and minimalist design with a palette of soothing earth tones and small splashes of color. Rooms feature Italian sheets on low beds, Japanese artwork, exotic scented sleep oils, a signature green tea welcome gift and Natura Bissé bath amenities with a blended rosemary and white tea scent created exclusively for Nobu Hotel. The in-room mini bar is stocked with Japanese beer, chocolate-dipped pretzels, Nobu’s signature brands of chilled sake, Wild Poppy blood orange chili juice and more.

Guests have access to Caesars’ Qua Baths & Spa, with 51 treatment rooms, signature Roman rituals, an Arctic Ice Room, a Laconium Room and a tea sommelier. Qua Baths & Spa also offers signature Nobu spa treatments that include the Nagomi Ritual, the Nobu Facial Collection, body wraps and Nobu Body Rituals such as the Diamond Magnetic Body Ritual and full-body scrubs. There are also eight unique swimming pools from which to choose, three levels for lounging, 44 cabanas and swim-up blackjack. In Vegas, entertainment is seemingly endless, but you don’t even have to leave the Caesars property to enjoy megastars such as Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, Elton John and Shania Twain.

A key card also gets you complimentary access to PURE Nightclub, complimentary valet service, the Nobu concierge, 24-hour in-room dining provided by Nobu Restaurant and priority reservations to Nobu Restaurant, conveniently located in the hotel reception area.
