Joining Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C., Los Angeles has become the fourth U.S. destination for Etihad Airways.
The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways started a daily service between Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles on June 1. Renowned for their customer service, Etihad Airways has eliminated the hassle of going through customs upon arrival in the U.S. by processing all travelers and their checked baggage through U.S. immigration, customs and agriculture inspections before boarding the aircraft in Abu Dhabi.

To keep up with competition and new standards, airlines are in renovation mode, and American Airlines is no exception.
The airline is bringing modern luxury to its Boeing 777-300ERs, as well as its terminals and check-in desks. The new Flagship Check-In offers a private check-in experience that includes an expedited security line and customer service representatives that can personally assist passengers with their individual travel needs.

With an array of newcomers upping the ante for the quality of air travel, Japan Airlines is keeping up with the competition with its new JAL SKY SUITE 777.
After introducing its four redesigned classes earlier this year, Japan Airlines is set to complete modifications on all thirteen of its 777-300ER jets by 2014. The new classes on these aircraft are constructed to evoke a feeling of “one class higher.”

Starting December 16, 2013, American Airlines travelers can book nonstop flights to and from Los Angeles (LAX) and Sao Paulo, Brazil (GRU), as well as between Miami (MIA) and Curitiba (CWB) and Porto Alegre (POA), beginning November 21, 2013.
