Boston restaurateurs—and best buds throughout their culinary careers—Lydia Shire (Scampo, Locke-Ober) and Jasper White (Jasper White’s Summer Shack) are teaming up to open Towne Stove and Spirits in the Back Bay on July 30. Globally inspired dishes will include Peking chicken & pot pie and tandoori meats, while a special lobster menu will feature a dozen preparations of that New England seafood staple. And with three dining rooms, three bars and an expansive outdoor patio, there should be plenty of room for all the curious Beantown foodies looking to get their fill at this newcomer.
