HEFNER HEADS TO LAS VEGAS
Playboy Club Opens at The Palms

The Playboy brand, synonymous around the world with the "good life," opened the new Playboy Club at the Palms Casino Resort on Oct. 6, 2006. The Las Vegas location is the first club to be launched in more than 25 years. The Palms' new $650 million Fantasy tower lights a giant-sized Playboy Rabbit Head emblazoned on the tower's side, facing the Las Vegas Strip. Located on the top three floors of the Palms, the club captures the Playboy lifestyle in every element: bunny buttons on the sofas, collage wallpaper featuring every centerfold from the last 25 years, 60 plasma screens and Playboy Bunnies donning Roberto Cavalli-designed Bunny Costumes. The club offers nine roulette tables and, upon entrance, visitors are treated to a Playboy sign made of 10,000 diamond-shaped crystals. No "membership" key is required for entry, a $20 to $50 cover gets you past the velvet ropes.

When: Opens nightly at 8 p.m.

Where:
The Palms Casino Resort, 4321 W Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, NV.

Admission: $20-$50.
