We
would like to thank KNX1070
radio host, Frank
Mottek, for inviting GAYOT.COM,
represented by Sophie Gayot, to talk about what
is happening in Los
Angeles on the dining scene during the one-hour
“Money 101” show on Thursday, December
22, 2005, at noon.
 |
From
left to right: Frank Mottek, Ludovic Lefebvre,
Sophie Gayot, Stéphane Clasquin and Gérard
Ferry |
To join her in the studio to discuss this ever endless
topic, Sophie chose a trio of celebrated Los Angeles
chefs, Gérard Ferry for L'Orangerie,
Ludovic
Lefebvre from Bastide
and Josef
Centeno from Meson
G.
In their own words, the chefs described their different
styles of cuisine, while Sophie explained why it
might sometimes be difficult for restaurants to
stay in business in the City
of Angels. She also gave a list of interesting
places to dine out, all for a different reason.
Many calls also came in from listeners suggesting
their favorites dining spots. L'Orangerie maître
d', Stéphane Clasquin, gave a hint on how
to get a table at a fully booked restaurant (just
call late in the afternoon of the same day).
