Sophie Gayot discussed the current economic strain on high-profile restaurants during her June 30th 2008 appearance on Frank Mottek's Business Hour on KNX 1070.

Using Gordon Ramsay’s newest Los Angeles restaurant, The London West Hollywood, as reference, Sophie explains that many restaurateurs will be adjusting prices on their menus in order to accommodate the economic situation facing the US.
Sophie also made mention of the 34th annual Block Party at the Paramount Studios back lot, a charity event held by the CONCERN Foundation, featuring food and drink from over 60 of Southern California's most celebrated restaurants, including the Chaya Brasserie, La Cachette, Café Del Rey and blue on blue.
