Do you want to celebrate this Halloween aboard a haunted ship? If you answered yes, then head to the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, going on from October 1 to November 1. Face your fears in any of the six frightening mazes and beware of ghastly monsters roaming the grounds. This year, Dark Harbor debuts the Lullaby maze — a nightmarish bedtime story featuring Scary Mary. Wicked libations, circus performers and live entertainment will also be on-site for your enjoyment.

The Natural History Museum Reveals New Exhibit
This fall, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles is introducing an intriguing exhibit — "Mummies: New Secrets of the Tombs." Developed by The Field Museum, Chicago, it will run from September 18, 2015 to January 18, 2016. More than 20 mummies from Egypt and Peru will be on display, many of which have never been shown in public. The exhibit will reveal burial secrets of these societies, as well as details of their day-to-day lives. Interactive touch-tables allow visitors to unwrap mummies to discover objects buried with the bodies, and CT scanning is implemented to reveal their physical characteristics.
