BLONDE GOES BROADWAY
Legally Blonde, The Musical

Legally Blonde The Musical

"Legally Blonde, The Musical," based off of a hit comedy starring Reese Witherspoon as a sorority-sister-cum-Harvard-law student, makes its Broadway world premiere starting April 29. Laura Bell Bundy stars as the pink-clad Elle Woods, who is dumped by her boyfriend for someone "serious." To prove herself, she applies for and gets into the prestigious Harvard Law, and as always, hilarity ensues. Expect a "Greek" chorus of Delta Nu sorority sisters, the lovable manicurist Paulette and her UPS man—who, ironically, are married in real life—and Elle's decked-out Chihuahua, Bruiser. The musical is directed by Tony Award-winning Jerry Mitchell ("Hairspray"), with original compositions and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin.
