Water: H20 = Life

Fog Curtain at Water exhibit

Water is such an ubiquitous part of our lives, we often forget just how fascinating it truly is. Approximately seventy percent of our planet is covered in water, but only three percent of that is fresh. The dichotomy of this precious natural resource is explored in the exhibit "Water: H20 = Life," held at the American Museum of Natural History. Using interactive displays, walkthrough dioramas, live animals, video and more, "Water" delves into topics such as life in water, water works, healthy water, ecosystem restoration and conservation. More information, including water resources and education, are available on the museum website.
