The Weber One-Touch Gold Grill is based on the original charcoal grill that Weber's founder George Stephen, Sr. first created back in the early 1950s. Unsatisfied with the flat and open grills of his day, Stephen wanted to make a version that could be covered, and thus used in almost any weather. So, he invented the "kettle" grill — with its iconic bowl shaped lid — and it's been popular ever since. Its reliable design makes it easy to operate and maintain, as well as extremely robust. It features a high capacity ash catcher, plated steel cooking grills, the classic porcelain-enameled bowl, all-weather wheels and an aluminum vent to keep your grub at an optimum cooking temperature.
