Buñol, Spain — La Tomatina
The world's biggest food fight takes place at the Plaza Del Pueblo in the small town of Buñol in eastern Spain. The actual tomato throwing lasts for only two hours between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Whatever the real reason for the first tomato war, one thing is for sure: participants nowadays need no excuse to pelt each other with squished tomatoes; they do it just for the heck of it!
