This popular celebration brings more than 1,000 brew fans to Kohler for a weekend filled

Napa Valley vintners welcome charitable wine connoisseurs back to their homes and vineyards for the 31st annual Napa Valley Wine Auction, the world's largest wine charity event, which has generated $97 million for local nonprofit agencies since 1981. Seventy small family vintners, who comprise the Santa Cruz Mountain Winegrowers' Association (SCMWA), will host a two-weekend festival for wine lovers to sample the fruits of their labor, which in this geographic area means vintages made from intensely concentrated grapes. More than 45 wineries will be participating. The price of admission includes a commemorative wine glass that can be used during the two-weekend festival, held each day from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets cost $35 per person and can be purchased online. Los Angeles, CA — Grande Marque
Champagne Tasting
Wine retailer Wally's Wine & Spirits will host the 19th annual Grande Marque Champagne Tasting at Santa Monica's Le Merigot Hotel, where attendees will be able to choose from 50 signature Champagnes to imbibe such as Dom Perignon and Cristal, in addition to being able to nosh on Petrossian Caviar, oysters from Café del Rey and tasty food items from about 20 leading restaurants — many are veteran participants and a few are newcomers. The David Arana Quartet will once again accompany the delightful tastes of the fundraiser, which since its inception has generated more than half a million dollars to benefit the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center and Vista del Mar Child & Family Services. Madera, CA — 29th Annual Celebration of Wine
About 90 wineries and more than 40 restaurants are scheduled to participate in this wine charity event at the Rancho Vista del Rio, located off of Highway 99. Last year's event attracted such California wineries as Eberle, Tablas Creek and Napa Ridge, not to mention food from restaurants such as ROE's Restaurant, Erna's Elderberry House and The Vineyard Restaurant & Bar. This year's celebration will include a silent wine auction, a post-event desserts hour, live music, dancing and much more. Proceeds will benefit the Vincent E. Those in attendance will be able to sip, taste and swirl new wines with industry experts and fellow enthusiasts; enhance the art gallery experience with tastings of red and white wine, chocolate-dipped strawberries and international cheeses; and put their pairing knowledge to the test against professional wine judges and sommeliers. Food & Wine Magazine will showcase its main areas of expertise at its 29th annual fundraiser in the majestic Aspen Mountains with cooking demonstrations featuring twelve culinary superstars such as Jacques & Claudine Pépin, in addition to 45 tasting seminars with noted wine authorities such as Paul Grieco, Anthony Giglio and Mark Oldman. Guests will be able to learn how to cook, then nosh on New Orleans cusine, seafood from the Adriatic and wines and cheeses from Spain. Other seminars will feature helpful tips such as which selections are best paired with spicy foods, the intricacies of sophisticated rum tasting, as well as a comparison of classic and modern Bordeaux. Last year's event alone featured 50,000 bottles of wine. Proceeds generated from the event will benefit the Grow for Good Campaign to support local farms and encourage steady agriculture.
