The seventh annual Denver International Wine Festival has expanded
to a 44,000-square-foot location this year inside The Wings
Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. The Grand Tasting
of International Wine & Food will take place on Friday and will
feature more than 400 wines from eighteen countries. Other
events include a Taste of Elegance chefs food and wine paring
competition, a Grand Vintners Dinner and — new this year — a Travel

The 21st annual SLO Vintners Harvest Celebration is a showcase
of the Central Coast's best wineries and restaurants. The Avila
Beach Golf Resort hosts this year's line of events, featuring a
Grand Tasting & Auction, winemaker dinners, and the SLO
Vintners Open House. The Grand Tasting features over 50
wineries and restaurants from the San Luis Obispo region in a
scenic seaside setting. Participating restaurants last year included
Gardens of Avila, Lido at Windows on the Water and Novo. This

Hawaii's longest-running food and coffee festival revolves around
America's favorite caffeinated beverage. The ten-day Kona Coffee
Cultural Festival offers community events such as art exhibits,

CA — Harvest Wine Celebration |

The Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association is marking the
end of harvest season by hosting the 21st annual Harvest Wine
Celebration. Guests will travel, on their own, to any or all of the
more than 30 participating wineries where they can chat with the
owners and winemakers as well as taste an abundance of wines,
including new, unreleased and some barrel and tank samples,
along with wine-friendly foods at each stop. The event is open
to guests over 21 years of age. Tickets cost $99 for a two-day
pass; Sunday only tickets are $79 for non-residents, $69 for locals
and $59 for designated drivers. Save $10 on the two-day pass if

Join more than 100 wineries along the Russian River Wine Road
at the 13th annual Wine & Food Affair. The Russian River Wine
Road is an association of more than 150 wineries and 50 lodgings

The Monterey County Vintners & Growers Association (MCVGA) is launching a new gathering for passionate eaters and drinkers. It's called "Best of the Blue," to be held Saturday, November 12, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in an airplane hangar at the Monterey Peninsula Airport, and will feature the wines of Monterey County as well as gourmet food trucks. The name "Best of the Blue" alludes to the "Blue Grand Canyon" — an underwater canyon beneath the surface of Monterey Bay of the same size and scope as the Grand Canyon — and its monumental effect on the crops grown throughout Monterey County. By French law, Beaujolais Nouveau is only released from
wineries at the stroke of midnight on the third Thursday of every
November. Villagers and city folk take to the streets to celebrate,
and that party comes to Dallas! Special arrangements are made
to fly in some of the first cases of Beaujolais Nouveau, so that
Dallas can share in the celebration as well. Wine lovers will have
the opportunity to taste the latest Beaujolais Nouveau as well as
vintages. At this year's 1960s-themed celebration, to be held at the new Omni Dallas Hotel from 7 p.m.-9:30 p.m., guests will be able to compare wines from
