Ace Hotel Seattle Review

: Located in the trendy Belltown district, this building started life as a hotel for maritime workers in 1909. Following an ace transformation, it now has the vibe of an artist's loft. White dominates, particularly in the guest rooms with their painted exposed-brick walls. The stylish, minimalist atmosphere appeals to budget-conscious Europeans and Japanese visitors, as well as the young, hip traveling set --- this is definitely not your parents' Sheraton. Case in point: guest room artwork by du jour artists like Shepard Fairey. Accommodations come with either shared or private baths, and their vintage furnishings are just one of the hotel's many eco-friendly efforts. Some of the deluxe rooms have partial water views. Wi-Fi is free, dogs are welcome, and food and drink needs are met at the on-site Cyclops Café and Panther Room bar. In addition, the breakfast room welcomes guests with Stumptown coffee and DIY waffles.
