Adobe Grand Villas Hotel Review: When romance is the focus of a weekend, this boutique bed and breakfast resort has it all---a background of magnificent red rock views and villas (larger than many apartments) with waterfall showers, whirlpool tubs and luxurious amenities. The individually-themed accommodations include Wagon Wheel, in which a covered wagon bed can fulfill cowboy fantasies. In the pastel, provincial print-decorated French Quarter, l’amour is practically guaranteed to blossom. Antiquities is a throwback to the Art Deco 1930s, and Hacienda has a jetted tub directly next to a fireplace. Each enjoys a private patio or balcony. The included four-course breakfast may feature strawberry French toast, omelets stuffed with avocado or spinach and feta, and eggs with sauteed portabello mushrooms. Homemade muffins and fruit smoothies are part of this gourmet wake-up call. Late afternoon hot hors d’oeuvres and fresh evening pastries are offered daily. A single spa treatment room is available for a variety of massages for singles and couples. Villas have TV, DVD player and stereo, and shopping and dining are withing walking distance.
