Alpine Inn Hotel Review: Built in 1966, this small motel is almost as much of a fixture in Anaheim’s original entertainment area as is the more famous "magic kingdom" next door. The rooms and their amenities are pretty cookie-cutter, though free Wi-Fi is offered. There is also a basic swimming pool located in the heart of the property. However, the combination of reliably low rates and proximity to Disneyland make up for these shortcomings, especially for those who plan to spend most of their vacation exploring every nook and cranny of the adjacent theme park. The property is also across the way from the Anaheim Convention Center, and is a short drive from a host of other north and central Orange County attractions, such as Knott’s Berry Farm and Angel Stadium.
