Anaheim Marriott Hotel Review: Located on lush grounds watched over by tall palm trees, this somewhat lackluster high-rise hotel welcomes business travelers with its own enormous convention facilities and a prime location adjacent to the South Hall of Anaheim Convention Center. It definitely targets the exec crowd, although the vibrant flourishes of color found in the quasi-retro lobby keep it from being devoid of personality. The balconied rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the suites are loaded with swanky, mid-century style bursting with lively colors and fun furniture. JW's Steakhouse is surprisingly intimate and romantic. The cocktail lounge is almost always lively in the evenings, though its patrons tend to be conventioneers, as opposed to Disneyland tourists wandering in from the theme park just two blocks away.
