Aston MonteLago Village Resort Hotel Review: Guests staying here can wander out to take a stroll through the "village," play a round of golf or even sail on Lake Las Vegas, which can be seen from many of the guest rooms. Whichever activity you choose, you can almost forget you are in the vicinity of Las Vegas --- though the distance from the strip makes this place more of a Lake Las Vegas getaway than a Sin City retreat. If you're hoping for late nights at the clubs, stay elsewhere. But if you want a place to relax, this is it. The rooms all feature kitchens and ample living spaces, and most have private balconies. Numerous restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and if you do want to hit a Vegas show, you can simply hop in your car and be in town in half an hour.
