Beazley House Hotel Review: Founded in 1981, this elevent-room establishment boasts the status of the first bed-and-breakfast in the Napa Valley. The main house, which is home to six of the rooms, is a chocolate-colored Arts-and-Crafts mansion that dates back to 1902. The smaller Carriage House is newer and contains the remaining five rooms. Both structures sit on half an acre of lawns. Though the buildings are old-fashioned, the guest rooms feature modern comforts such as wireless Internet, fireplaces and private bathrooms. Some also have whirlpool tubs and views of the verdant gardens. All stays include a complimentary breakfast with gourmet treats, such as estate coffee, quiche and homemade breads. On Friday nights, the inn hosts complimentary wine tastings with hors d'oeuvres. In-room spa services are available, and pets are welcome for a $25 surcharge per night. During the day, visitors can explore downtown Napa and surrounding vineyards.
