Blue Sail Inn Hotel Review: This small motor court perches on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean. Set on a notoriously overpriced strip of coastal California, it's a true bargain for value-conscious travelers. The oversized rooms have typical motel-style furnishings, as well as cable TV, telephones, coffee makers, mini refrigerators and microwaves. Most also have private balconies, a few of which have views over the calm waters of Morro Bay, and individual air-conditioning and heating units, which is a bonus for the price range in this area. The mini suites have partial ocean views, along with wet bars and gas fireplaces. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the motel, and there's an outdoor hot tub for guests. The helpful staff are full of suggestions for local activities, from browsing art galleries and farmer's markets to renting sea kayaks, mountain biking, or playing golf. What's more, it's a family-friendly establishment with above-average security features.
