Callville Bay Resort & Marina Hotel Review

: Beautiful Lake Mead is a perfect setting for spending a few relaxing days away from the Strip. And those with a love of water can have the best of all worlds by renting a fully-furnished houseboat at Callville Bay Resort & Marina, only 45 minutes from Vegas. Navigate 550 miles of Lake Mead's shoreline in boats ranging from 50 to 70 feet. Great for family vacations, houseboats must be rented for a minimum of three days; however, if you are visiting for the day you can rent a personal watercraft or a skiboat. The 50-foot Forever 8 Houseboat comfortably sleeps up to eight people, and features all the comforts (and then some) of a landlocked hotel, including a living area, two bedrooms with linens, bath with shower, full-size stove, refrigerator and gas grill. The largest of the fleet, the 70-foot Millennium Houseboat is perfect for a week-long floating holiday for up to twelve people, with four bedrooms, two full baths, a wet bar and a grand-sized hot tub on the top deck. Boats can be docked in any of the numerous private coves along the lake. With advance notice, the Callville Bay Grocery Program staff can make sure you have everything you need for your trip before you even step foot on the boat. Those wanting to rough it lakeside can set up camp at the marina's RV site or campground.
