Cancun Resort Hotel Review: If you're thinking about venturing out to explore casinos and shops, you'll realize how far this property is from the Strip. But what it lacks in location it makes up for with its fairly upscale one- and two-bedroom villas that offer more space than usual for a standard Vegas accommodation. All come with fully equipped kitchens, dining areas and living rooms. The style is a tasteful tribute to the Yucatan peninsula and is far less kitschy than the exterior would suggest. Caribe Lounge serves Mexican cuisine, while the spa offers classic treatments. There is also a nice pool area flanked by al fresco dining and a faux Mayan pyramid. The property may feel remote, but outlet shopping is within walking distance and the Strip is a quick ten-minute drive away.
