Cedars Resort Hotel Review: It’s stretching things a bit to call this property, located right at the Y intersection in the middle of town, a resort. It does have a pool and hot tub, and the rooms contain mini-fridges and coffee makers—but don't expect the amenities of Sedona’s super resorts. Rather, this is a good, clean, handy, centrally located motel-type property situated where the shops of uptown Sedona are just two to three blocks away, which has great red rock views from some rooms, and enjoys direct access to Oak Creek. It’s also a good base for hiking and mountain biking. Lowest-price rooms have a double or queen bed, and city (read parking lot) views. So if you want to gaze out at the red rocks, ask for a canyon view room when booking.
