Crescent Beverly Hills Hotel Review

: This intimate hotel was built in 1926. Having grown a bit tired by the turn-of-the-millennium, it underwent a high-profile Beverly Hills facelift and emerged as a leaner, reinvigorated version of its former self. The 35 modest-sized guest rooms are modern and minimalist in style. They are filled with trendy goodies, such as flat-screen TVs, DVD and CD players, wireless Internet access, mini-bars stocked with gourmet snacks and iPod minis. You can even buy CDs from a music mini-bar. The hotel's outdoor CBH Lounge & Bar serves eclectic American cuisine. Indoors, the hip lobby bar is filled with black-clad CAA employees munching on garlic French Fries served in brown paper bags. A small, private dining space above the lounge feels both intimate and stage-like at the same time. Among distinctive offerings are wine tastings and cooking classes. A short strolling distance to Rodeo Drive assures this hotel's status as a 90210 classic.
