The Depot Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel Review: Housed in a renovated, 100-year-old train depot, this hotel has been turned into a unique lodging and recreational complex. The scene is one of bright, comfortable bustle, with a restaurant here, a bar there, a cheerful staff everywhere. Fortunately, the hotel's attention to turn-of-the-century décor, furnishings and artwork doesn't extend to the amenities, which are state-of-the-art. The beds are especially large, and the fixtures offer a bit more style than those found in the typical chain Marriott. In addition to the regular rooms, there are 23 special suites. Of note: a newly added indoor water park and ice-skating rink.
