Eventi Hotel Review: Like its brethren in the Kimpton Hotels chain, Eventi has a huge personality. The hotel's über stylish décor will please even the pickiest design fan. Sitting pretty in walking distance to Penn Station, Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building, Eventi should also be considered a go-to hotel for anybody who wants to focus attention on Chelsea. It's just blocks from the neighborhood's restaurants, art galleries and clubs. The 54-floor property offers 292 guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, Frette linens, a choice of pillows and marble bathrooms. Humphreys serves farm-to-table New American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Otherwise, casual fare can be had at the beachfront-themed Brighton, or GoBurger, Fish Shack and Tiki Bar, with indoor and outdoor seating in Eventi Plaza. A fitness center on the fifth floor looks out over the plaza and offers 1,000 square feet containing workout machines and cardio equipment. Guests who bring their pooches to this pet-friendly hotel will appreciate the dog runs in nearby Madison Square Park.
