 Four Seasons Hotel New York Review: This hotel has everything. Absolutely everything. A block from Fifth Avenue, it occupies a 52-story, I.M. Pei-designed limestone tower with 360-degree views of Central Park and the surrounding skyline. Guests enter via a dramatic grand foyer boasting a 33-foot-high back-lit onyx ceiling. It feels much like a 1930s-era Hollywood movie set. The 368 spacious guest rooms average 600 square feet and feature foyers with built-in mini bars, separate sitting areas and dressing rooms. They are decorated in caramel or copper color schemes and have electronically controlled silk draperies. The custom-designed furnishings are fashioned from English sycamore and leather. Cubist and abstract art provide dramatic accents, while Frette linens, soundproofing and blackout blinds ensure comfort and a good night's rest. The 120-square-foot marble bathrooms contain separate soaking tubs and showers, TVs and telephones, along with all the customary upscale amenities. Standard room treats range from DVD players to high-speed Internet access. Besides the well-equipped business center, the hotel offers translation, interpretation and secretarial services.
