Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel Review: Though this place isn't as splashy as its newer, more upscale neighbors, the 17.3-acre resort is an icon, offering the festive atmosphere of Carnaval in Rio. Adorned with souvenir stands, the outdoor Carnaval Court fronting the Strip presents wine, spirits, salads and sandwiches, and live entertainment from mid-morning until late at night. Dueling piano-playing twins performing in the Piano Bar; in addition, up-and-coming comedians at the Improv Theater are among the entertainment offerings. The ten-table poker room is decorated with images of World Series of Poker champions. The beautifully landscaped Olympic-size pool and myriad shops are usually bustling. Among dining options are Ruth's Chris Steak House and Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill. The cheerful hotel rooms are housed in the 23-story Mardi Gras North Tower, fifteen-story Mardi Gras South Tower and 35-story Carnaval Tower. They include all the basic amenities, and those rooms facing the Court can also enjoy the sound of its music into the wee hours. The 21 meeting rooms in the convention space accommodate parties, corporate gatherings and business meetings. Looking for live entertainment? The Mac King Comedy Magic Show and The Improv Comedy Club are sure to please.
