Harvest Inn Hotel Review: This charming Tudor-style inn (belonging to the exclusive Charlie Palmer hotel group) is located on St. Helena's main drag, but you'd never know it, as it is surrounded by 21 acres of gardens and vineyards. The 74 guest rooms are all cottage style, and many come with charming cobblestone fireplaces, oak-paneled walls, pegged oak floors and stained-glass windows. The accommodations are lavishly appointed and furnished with fine antiques, and most feature wet bars and views of Whitehall Lane's vineyard. Rooms also boast free Wi-Fi. Three of the rooms --- the largest ones, of course --- have their own adjacent spas. An outdoor pool is open to all guests. Conference rooms are available for meetings and retreats; they are usually occupied, and the abundance of corporate visitors can somewhat diminish the inn's appeal as a romantic hideaway. Guests in search of pampering will be pleased with the inn's spa, where they can enjoy treatments such as a Grape Seed Facial Massage and a Vin Rose Wrap. Some massages are even offered outdoors in the Garden Spa Sanctuary. The Great Room hosts fireside wine tastings on Friday and Saturday evenings. Complimentary breakfast is served in the Wine Country Kitchen.
