Holiday Inn French Quarter Chateau LeMoyne Hotel Review: While the French Quarter is right outside, there's plenty within this hotel's compound to keep you entertained. The Greek Revival townhouses center around a Hollywood-glamorous swimming pool, and an on-site restaurant is available for room service at all hours. There's also a lounge offering local drinks from Hurricanes to brandy milk punch, and a jazz combo plays on the weekends. The management wants you to believe you are experiencing the French Quarter as its namesake, Jean-Baptiste LeMoyne, did back in the 1800s. The four-poster beds, period chandeliers, sitting rooms and exposed brick walls certainly help. But one of the hotel's greatest strengths is the attention paid to the needs of the contemporary businessperson. Meeting rooms can be arranged to simulate classrooms or boardrooms, and you may fax, copy and Fed Ex, all from the front desk. All rooms have standard Internet service, and some offer Wi-Fi, which is also available in all public areas.
