Hotel Deca Hotel Review: A $2 million renovation in 2007 transformed this hotel into a nicely priced tribute to Art Deco --- with a warm, Pacific Northwest feel. A welcoming fireplace and cozy wine bar can be found in the lobby, where guests sip coffee from the on-site Tully's, a local favorite. House eatery, The District Lounge, serves a playful global menu. Murals showcasing the jazz age adorn public spaces, while guests rooms and suites exhibit design details from the 1930s. The smallest of accommodations are 275 square feet (studio singles), and all feature flat-panel TVs, iHome radios with docking stations, safes and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel is a favorite of visiting professors, recruiters, parents of University of Washington students and Safeco Insurance executives. They flock here for good reason. It's convenient to shopping, Safeco is across the street and the campus is within walking distance.
