The Hotel Huntington Beach Review: With a location about as north of the coast as you can get without leaving Huntington Beach, this hotel is not necessarily the place to be if you plan on walking to the shore. In fact, the adjacent business park and outdoor shopping center may trick people into thinking its white-and-blue-windowed façade is an office building. Still, what the nine-story boutique property lacks in location it makes up for in style. Renovated in 2010, the lobby --- complete with chill colored lighting and dark woods --- gives off a strong sense of upscale trendiness. And while the dull white and gold rooms do not share this same vibe, the relatively inexpensive rates may make this a minor quibble to some. The hotel’s Pacific Ballroom boasts space for up to 400 guests and contains all of the necessary elements to successfully hold a large-scale meeting or event. Guests looking to relax may wish to inquire about the in-room massage treatments and breakfast service specials.
