Hotel Le Marais Hotel Review: Visitors who were dissatisfied with the old Marie Antoinette’s frumpy appearance will be thrilled with the Hotel Le Marais --- the property was renamed after the famous Parisian neighborhood. The half block to Bourbon Street location, a chic new look and a trendy bar make this a hot addition to the Quarter’s boutique hotel selection. Each of the 66 rooms offers sophisticated décor and is nicely outfitted with a 42-inch flat-screen TV, speaker phone with data port and voice mail, free Wi-Fi, an alarm clock with iPod docking station, coffee and tea maker and free bottled water. Walk-in showers, waffle-cotton robes, makeup mirrors and deluxe bath amenities add to the luxury. Superior and premium rooms offer French Quarter or courtyard views, while deluxe rooms have limited views. Complimentary, extended continental breakfast sweetens the deal.
