Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort Hotel Review

: This elegant 18-story, V-shaped hotel overlooks an exotic 1,500-acre property and aims to be for adults what Disney is for children---a whirlwind of fantasy and play. Though it attracts significant convention business, its surplus of on-site recreation and entertainment easily overshadows that aspect. Among them are one of the largest pools in the world, a lagoon-style playground resembling a water theme park, with grottoes, caves, 12 waterfalls, two plunging waterslides, overhanging bridge and volleyball nets, three hidden hot tubs, swim-up pool bar and cavern café. A racquet club, equestrian center, four award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf courses, white sand beach and 45-acre nature preserve are geared to the active and sophisticated. A variety of restaurants, some gourmet and featuring Floridian-style cuisine, and a considerable number of bars and lounges all presenting live entertainment, make the resort a nightlife mecca. Kids are welcome, too, with an impressive childcare facility, playground and Camp Hyatt.
