Hyatt Regency Indianapolis Hotel Review: A distinctive angular brick exterior makes the transformed Hyatt easy to spot amid the landscape of downtown Indianapolis. With lots of natural greenery and a soothing waterwall feature next to the elevators, the soaring atrium is a breath of fresh air. Each of the nearly 500 homey yet sophisticated residential-style guest rooms houses plush Hyatt Grand Beds, flat-screen televisions and mini-refrigerators. An on-site fitness center accommodates workouts any time of day (or night), and the indoor pool and hot tub make great spots in which to relax and refresh year-round. As a crowning glory, the Eagle’s Nest restaurant on the twentieth floor sets a panoramic stage for fine dining with upscale cuisine and a circular dining room that slowly revolves to offer constantly shifting 360-degree views of the city below. Guests can access five downtown cultural districts on foot or bike by picking up the Indianapolis Cultural Trail just a block away. In addition, sky walks provide quick, comfortable enclosed routes to the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium and Circle Centre Mall.
